The Technological Innovations track if you are building a solution, product or service. The Scientific Research track if you produce evidence intended to guide health policy. If you hesitate, pick the one that best describes your main contribution; you can change it while the application is still a draft.
French or English, your choice. Both are treated identically by the jury.
7 October 2026 at 23:59 UTC. The close is hard: after that moment no submission is possible, even for an application that is 99% complete.
A pitch deck as a PDF (15 MB maximum) and the CV of the lead applicant (5 MB maximum) in every case. For the Research track, the ethics committee approval or proof of submission is mandatory if your study involves human subjects.
The three-minute video pitch is optional by default. If it is required for this edition, the form says so directly.
No. Taking part in GHAYIB is free at every stage.
The technical committee reviews applications from 8 to 20 October 2026 against six shared criteria. Six finalists are announced on 25 October: four for the Innovations track, two for the Research track. The selection ensures geographic diversity and gender balance.
It is used solely to run the competition. Personal data from applications that are not selected is purged twelve months after the edition. The detail is in the privacy policy.
